Faux Painted like Burl Wood —

Inset painted burl wood – Apparently the cabinets had real burl-wood veneer specked-out, but it was finished without it.  Time was of the essence. The general contractor asked if we could paint the burl-wood over the existing mahogany instead.  What you see is the result of that inquiry.

Custom Mural —

Custom triptych painting with perspective drawing of Italian country side. The painting was commissioned by clients who loved the Italian country site.  This was created with Acrylics on wooden boards.  The triptych measures 7′ by 5′.

Hall & Doorway —

The customer wanted to create a visual impact for that first impression upon opening her front door.  Marcelino Custom Finishes developed this unique ‘Trompe L’Oeil” (shading) art work and applied a soft faux finish to the wall to complete the look.  The visual impact and statement were made using paints only.
