The kitchen Cabinetry finish was created with a two color stain glaze combination. Then the cabinets were lightly distressed whichgives them a distinctive edge. The kitchen is warm and inviting with a lived in feeling.

Taking a fireplace and making it into a unique and ornate design can make a large difference in a living area. The hand painted details and faux finishes created on this fireplace helpled compliment the furniture in this room as well as create a focal point.
This entry was nice before but very flat surfaces. This is a good example on how Trompe L’Oeil (3D shading) can dramatically change flat surfaces. Trompe L’Oeil is is an art technique involving realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects exist in three dimensions.
